We tried both The Nook Eatery (sandwiches, salads, delicious pizza!) and Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar and were pleased with both. There are several cool restaurants & shops located within the hotel. One time I turned on the shower and it literally took 3-4 minutes for the water to be more than just lukewarm. The only disappointment to speak of was the poor water pressure in the shower, and the inconsistency of hot water availability. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping things neat & tidy for us. In the bathroom, there was a double vanity with a nice magnifying makeup mirror and a huge tile shower (no tub). The bedroom area had the king bed we had requested and a second television. One portion of the room had a cool sectional sofa, coffee table, HDTV, sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a high-top dining style table with 4 stools. We were greeted quickly upon check-in and were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a suite without even asking.this was before they even knew we were celebrating a special occasion! The room was spacious with a contemporary vibe and was spotlessly clean. The location is ideal, center strip, and has a monorail station right there which made it very convenient. My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas, our first visit there since our honeymoon! We had stayed at this location when it was the Imperial Palace in 1995, and after finding out it was now The Linq and was recently renovated, we decided to check it out. But what is worse is the lack of caring, and concern that other hotels possess toward their guests. I replied, 'Well, can I at least get a round of towels so I can shower?' He said ok. The agent said, 'Are you sure your room wasn't cleaned because they are done for the day.' I replied, 'well my bed isn't made, no fresh towels and trash not emptied.' He didn't believe me at first then back tracked and said, 'oh, they are still cleaning rooms.' I've never seen housekeeping in the halls past 5:30 but ok. I called guest services to report this and ask what the status was on my room. No fresh towels, bed still not made, trash cans not emptied. I got back in my room from spending the day at the pool and in the casino so I needed to take a shower. I stayed at the linq from September 1-5 and among other things that were unsatisfactory they actually didn't clean my room on one of the days.
